VILAS in cooperation with The Fresh Connection of Netherlands have organized the Supply Chain Executive training programme with the aim of experimenting and applying the simulator model used in several leading multinational companies to the field related teaching activities in Vietnam.
There is the fact that a Supply Chain training programme would be a shortcoming if participants cannot experience actual tasks in a professional working environment, as well as analyse related issues thereby making decisions based on their knowledge which has been conveyed. Thus, bringing the TFC simulator model into the programme will be the decisive factor to solve these issues.
Designed by Inchange B.V Netherlands, TFC is now ranked as one of the most widely applied supply chain simulation business models. Coca-Cola, DHL, Apple, MAERSK, Unilever, PepsiCo, and more than 600 corporations are applying TFC in human resource development, internal training, and as a valuable criterion for their recruitment process.
The course puts participants in the business context of a fast-moving consumer goods company (FMCG). Throughout weekly knowledge, participants will analyze and evaluate the situation of the company in separate departments, from which to make decisions, change data, KPIs, interact between departments to operate the supply chain and redevelop the company.
Teamwork learning model will follow the participants from the first session. Each group will have 04 members, representing for 04 vice presidents of 04 departments to discuss and evaluate the issues together. After that, the group will give a presentation of the company's result, along with debating and answering questions from rival groups. The model will become more complex round by round, therefore requiring hard-work from all members and decision-making skills at the right time.
